From 36771d03a89076b045b9b716ee5ed1fa06992a13 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mariano Gobea Alcoba Date: Sat, 17 Oct 2026 14:47:35 -0300 Subject: [PATCH] docs(setup): persist the TinyTeX PATH in the shell profile on macOS (#609) The TinyTeX snippet exports PATH for the current session only. A new terminal window then fails with 'command not found: lualatex' although the install worked. Add the persisted form and a one-line check. --- SETUP.md | 10 ++++++++++ 1 file changed, 10 insertions(+) diff --git a/SETUP.md b/SETUP.md index 56863136..d97519c4 100644 --- a/SETUP.md +++ b/SETUP.md @@ -64,6 +64,16 @@ sh /tmp/tinytex-install-bin-unix.sh /tmp --no-path export PATH="$HOME/Library/TinyTeX/bin/universal-darwin:$PATH" ``` +The `export` above only lasts for the current terminal window.
