# Decentralized Identifier (DID) Module
The Sonr DID module implements a comprehensive W3C DID specification, providing a decentralized identity layer that enables self-sovereign identity management across the Sonr blockchain ecosystem.

## Core Concepts
### Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
